Senior Pastor - Nathan Hollenberg
Pastor Nathan came to Linville Creek in October of 2015 after serving seven years as Youth Pastor at Mill Creek Church of the Brethren. Nathan is a graduate of Bridgewater College and Bethany Theological Seminary. Nathan's wife, Kate, is a math teacher at Broadway Highschool and they have two boys.
Nathan enjoys playing guitar, watching nerdy movies, and is an avid runner!
Choir Director - Jessica Strawderman
Jessica Strawderman is thrilled to officially join the worship staff as choir director! Jessica has 12 years of experience in music education, currently teaching kindergarten through 5th grade general music at Bluestone Elementary in Harrisonburg City Schools. Along with public schools, Jessica has served as choir director at Montezuma Church of the Brethren and contemporary worship leader at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Staunton, Virginia. Jessica also teaches Explorers Music Classes as a preparation for Shenandoah Valley Children’s Choir. She will continue to serve as children’s choir director at Linville Creek COB, a truly special place to worship and make music! You may see her with her family, Logan, Owen, and Nora.

Administrative Assistant - Crystal Mongold
Hi, I’m Crystal Mongold, the Administrative Assistant at LCCOB. I feel blessed to work with
Pastor Nathan and the entire congregation each day. My family, which includes my husband,
Bobby, and children, Ravyn, Leyden, and Ashlyn, and I have been attending Linville Creek for
eight years and are all proud to be members of this church family.
I retired from Lowe’s when our oldest Ravyn was born in 2000 and was a stay-at-home momma
until Ashlyn went to kindergarten. I adore children, so I enjoyed working as a substitute teacher
for Rockingham County for ten years. I also enjoy helping with Vacation Bible School and as a
Sunday School Teacher.
I love spending time with my family! I enjoy traveling (for short periods), gardening, baking,
crafting, raising chickens, and walking our dog, Winston. I especially enjoy watching our
children, Ravyn working towards her goals as an adult with our grand-puppy, Fitz; Leyden, and
Ashlyn playing soccer, dancing, and following their passions. I also enjoy binge-watching my
favorite shows, reading, and building our dream homestead with Bobby- filled with dogs,
chickens, ducks, (bees, and goats one day)!
