Total gifts and pledges are over $230,000 -- none of them of the large-gift category. The Board is meeting with individuals and families to consider large-gift donations ($25,000 and above) to move us closer to our $425,000 goal by December 31, 2009.

We have received statements of support from former Annual Conference Moderator Christopher Bowman (Vienna, VA) and former Bethany Seminary Academic Dean Stephen Breck Reid (Waco, TX), as well as from the Shenandoah District Board. A presentation was made by Pastor Roth to the Broadway (VA) Town Council to request a statement of support from them which they are considering to be presented at their November meeting.
